Product Description

IP54 DC EV Charger for Harsh Environments

This unit combines IP54 ingress protection with a fully sealed sheet metal cabinet and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +60°C. The design is validated for coastal salt spray zones, dusty industrial areas and high humidity tropical regions, where conventional open frame chargers suffer from corrosion, dust ingress and condensation.

Sealed Sheet Metal Cabinet Construction

The cabinet is formed from galvanized sheet steel with a powder coated outdoor grade finish, sealed gaskets at every door and cable entry, and an isolated airflow path that keeps salt laden or dust laden air away from the power modules and control boards.

5 Meter Heavy Duty Cable and Ergonomic Holster

Each charging port is fitted with a 5 meter heavy duty cable paired with an ergonomic gun holster. The cable jacket and strain relief are specified to reduce bending fatigue and wear during daily use, which extends the service life of the charging connectors and improves the driver operating experience.
