Most urban sites do not need a 480kW cabinet, but they do need a real DC fast charge rather than an AC top up. The Bailu series 60kW configuration delivers 200A from a single gun in the same 756 x 706 x 1908mm cabinet, which fits a retail car park bay, a hotel forecourt or a service station corner without a separate plant room. The unit runs on three phase 5 wire input, AC380V ±15%, with a power factor of 0.99, so it can share an existing low voltage supply.

A 60kW unit is the lowest cost way to put a genuine DC fast charge into a location with limited grid capacity. It suits sites where drivers park for 30 to 60 minutes, so the vehicle gains a useful range while the driver shops, eats or works. Sites that need to serve long distance traffic at short stops should step up to 120kW or above within the same family.

The 5 metre cable as standard covers most retail bay layouts, including nose in and reverse parking.
